The team at Glander Rochford Orthodontics LOVES the holiday season. We’ve decked the office halls, have festive music playing, and our office smells as yummy as a sugar cookie. Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Yuletide
The ISO puts on a spectacular holiday performance year after year in their Yuletide celebration. Dancing Santas, familiar festive melodies, and an audience smiling from ear to ear will be sure to put you in the holiday season. Performances run through December 23.
Winter Lights at Newfields
The Indianapolis Museum of Art has a stunning outdoor display of lights that is sure to put anyone in the spirit of the season. Sip a hot beverage, walk the grounds of Newfields, and take in the wonder. This is only available in the evening and tickets are available November 23-January 5.
Lights at the Brickyard
Have you ever wanted to drive on the same racing track that the Indy 500 racers drive on? Well now you can as you view colorful twinkling lights lining every inch of the track. More than 3 million lights illuminate this course, and YES you get to cross the famous “yard of bricks” start and finish line. Because you view the lights from inside your car, this is a great option if the weather is cold.
Butler University Ballet’s Presentation of The Nutcracker
Dr. Rochford and his wife attend the Butler Ballet performance of The Nutcracker every year! There are a few other performances of this holiday nostalgic ballet, but the Butler University performance is always a show stopper. The dancers are students in the Butler University dance program as well as children and performers from the community. The orchestra is made up of students from the Butler University music program.
Indy with Kids Christmas Lights List
Each year, Indy with Kids lists as many of the holiday lights in the Indianapolis are as possible! If you are a sucker for lights, plug the locations of this list into your GPS, load up the car, fill a mug with hot cocoa, and get ready to see all the best lights in the city!
